Bill Markel, founder & CEO, created RSI when he recognized that the EMEA market was underserved by the leading, global, technology manufacturers. There were new and exciting products that were not being promoted in the region that was seemingly dominated by older, legacy products. The businesses, industries, and communities were simply being overlooked.
For over a decade, Relevant Secure Innovations has been committed to bringing innovative solutions to the EMEA market through its cooperative partner platform. We have built strong relationships with manufacturers and created a single point of service to provide regional clients with the systems they require. RSI assurance means the different products will work together and the integrator is not left to determine how to make them work, reducing risk and the time to implement and deploy.

Our Team
Bill Markel is a seasoned physical security and technology executive with 20 years of experience who leads our team. Following the sale of Enterprise Air, a Physical Security Technology integration platform company in 2010, he has been 100 percent committed to servicing physical security customers in the foreign markets with an emphasis on the GCC markets and North Africa. Typically, Bill spends 2-3 weeks per quarter in the gulf countries and has become intimately familiar with the government structure, critical infrastructure project flow and bidding process, often supporting leading solution providers in each market. His primary focus for the past 3 years has been the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait. Bill’s personal interest is in developing long term strategic relationships in each market.

Ted Alben
CTO
Ted Alben serves as our chief technology and engineering lead with decades of expertise in The Internet of Things, Innovation, Networking and both Physical Security & Cyber Security. Well versed in networking, telecommunications, mobility (wireless) and the management applications, Alben's been engaged in numerous Smart City and IoT Innovation opportunities for both Public and Private Sector worldwide.
Over his career, Alben has achieved competencies as a CTO/CIO and senior Network Engineer/Designer, with over twenty years of experience, both here and abroad. Most recently in an executive consulting capacity, Alben built and led the IoT & Physical Security Practice for one of the world's largest Systems Integrators, NTT/Dimension Data, providing insights and innovative solutions to The Fortune 100 including manufacturing, energy and petrochemical, healthcare, retail, and the enterprise markets.
Clement has over fifteen active years of experience in software development as well as design and management of physical security, electronic security, IT infrastructure development, project management, budget planning, research and new product development. He graduated college with honors in computer science.
Following school, Clement sharpened his academic skills professionally and more profoundly in the last five years during his time as Head of Research and Development at ITECO Nigeria Limited, a leading technology firm in Nigeria and the co-founders of Interswitch Nigeria Limited. There, he was responsible for designing, building, managing and closing multiple projects involving advanced electronic security using biometrics, security validation, database and software synchronization and security.
